We did have a great laugh as when we told S & J that some folk ask us if we drove over from England in our rig Sandy said we should write a book about our travels and call it "Did you drive over from England in that? subtitled, our life and travels amongst the Americans"

Monday 24th Back on the road again
We say fond farewells to Sandy and Jack and get back on the road again. We have a much longer journey today than we had been doing. Our route skirts past Millwaukee and then into Illinois and Chicago, needless to say our songs for today are a resurrection of What Made Millwaukee Famous and I Just Blew in From the Windy City ! Not bad driving even around Chicago, we did miss one toll booth so had a stressy moment until the next toll booth where we were told we could go online and pay. We think it happens a lot !! Lost an hour as now back on Eastern Time (5 hours behind UK again now) so didn't get to camp site until 7pm but the last few miles were on a very good surfaced single road and some really neat towns.
The Harris' leaving Wisconsin.
