On the road to Brookeville, Dayton, Ohio

Awoke at 6am to the pitter patter of rain on the roof of the rig and as Kelly said a few weeks ago it's quite a soothing sound at first and then it gets very annoying ! Pics today are a bit grey as it rained for most of our journey across Ohio but the good news is we had good road surfaces for most of the time until we got to Dayton and the I-70 when we were back to potholes and roadworks !
First part of journey ran along side of the railroad so I was happy !!

Welcome to Ohio.
The 35west took us past Jackson so of course our song for today was Lee and Nancy........."We got married in a fever....."
The local Jackson radio station played my favourite line dance song and straight after another that I also like so I was a happy bunny despite the weather. We said goodbye to The Appellations, the countryside is now flat farm lands and therefore driving a lot easier but not quite so scenic
Lots of water towers along the way

Dayton Ohio

Our latest campsite at Brookeville, Dayton and Himself with no sign of a beer !!!! The navigator better pull her socks up and get that sorted !
