Utica, Illinois

There was a fabulous sunrise at 05.30 this morning and I'm pleased to that I got back to sleep again. Quiet morning needed to catch up on laundry ! Took ourselves off to downtown Utica just a mile and a half away and space to park the rig. We did a 10 mile round trip bike ride along the towpath of the Illinois and Michigan Canal. Built in the 1830's to connect The Mississippi River with Chicago

Good day, good bit of exercise. Very chilly this evening. Michael cooked delicious steaks on BBQ. We have the camp site almost to ourselves everyone has gone home ready for a new working week.

    Cheeky monkey !! We also did another 4 hours of hiking with hundreds of steps today !!
