The Easter Sunday Easter Egg Hunt
We make it safely to our friends Myra and Bill's beautiful home where we are treated to "good old southern hospitality" over the Easter weekend.

For those of you that don't know these are folk that we met last year on our tour of Alaska who said when you come on your trip to the USA do come and visit with us. They were travelling with other family members and we were also lucky enough to be able to meet up with them again on this visit and also to meet Myra and Bill's lovely daughters and grandchildren.

I'm sorrry for you folks back home with our usual Easter of wet and damp weather as ours was HOT HOT HOT !! We gather it was unusally hot more June temperatures than April. We had a wonderful time, visiting Janis (Bill's sister) and Jimmy's beautiful house on Lake Burton, seeing some of the local area and people and of course Myra and I just had to go shopping for shoes while the boys watched the golf. I discovered I love grits !
Sunday we met the extended family so many names and faces but we managed to sort who was who and had great fun and a huge feast rounded off with the childrens Easter egg hunt.
Michael spent a fair part of the weekend in his favourite position on the the verandah gazing at the the most spectacular view and watching the buzzards soaring on the thermals.
Life is good.
