Thursday 15th On the road to Nashville

And it's another beautiful blue sky morning, I wandered outside first thing to take the air and enjoy the peace and quiet, just me and some wild turkeys ! Strange thing about wild turkeys is whenever we see them anywhere they are always in three's !!
On route from Gatlinburg to get to the I-40 we passed through Pigeon Forge which this weekend is host to an annual vintage/collectors car show. I managed to snap a few as we passed as there were some really great cars on show already. Their owners (with the ok of all the local motels/attractions) park up and get out their picnic chairs and sit and wait for folk to come talk to them about their cars. It is a huge weekend for owners and the locals (goes without saying it's a great weekend for sales) with many of the cars up for sale.

In the background of this vintage car is part of one of the attractions of Pigeon Forge !

On the road again, more beautiful blossom
Sandwich break and we park amongst the big trucks !

Our spot here in Nashville. We have tickets for Saturday evening at the Grand Ole Opry and plan to see as many sights as possible. We are so far booked in for 4 nights here.
This rig is one of the many big and I mean big rigs on this site. This one is parked near us and is owned by a really nice elderly couple from Florida. They are new to RVing and only bought it last September so hope for us yet !!
We are now on Central time so another hour behind you folks at home.
